Blood clot or worse?

Hi.
This is my first pregnancy aged 39. Around 5 weeks and a couple of days pregnant. Yesterday on wiping I experienced some pink spotting. Today, randomly, I felt some red discharge on my liner and when I went to the toilet, this came out (no pain).
I am so scared as to whether this could be a sign of miscarriage 🙈 (sorry for the graphics)

It looks like a blood clot. Bleeding doesn't always indicate a miscarriage, in fact a lot of people report bleeding for a large part of their pregnancies and end up having healthy babies. I would speak to your GP tomorrow to be referred to your local early pregnancy unit, they will probably see you for an early scan. At 5 weeks there isn't a huge amount to see on a scan, so they may suggest to wait until you are around 6 weeks as there are certain things they can see then.
I know that it is really scary, and time passes so slowly while you are waiting. 💐

Thank you. I have bloodwork booked in for tomorrow morning. My ultrasound is booked in for next Wednesday.
am nervous because there is still red blood on wiping and it hasn’t slowed down. Keeping my 🤞 but very nervous
