Had a miscarriage at 9.5 weeks. Baby stopped growing at 8 weeks. Had surgery to remove. All OK and I ovulated exactly 14 days after surgery, I'm now 4dpo and in the tww. Anyone else in the same position? Haven't had a period yet obviously after surgery

Hey, I had a miscarriage at 6 weeks at the end of July. Passed naturally and I started tracking ovulation again when the bleeding stopped and I got a negative pregnancy test. I’m now 3DPO and back to the horrible wait of the 2WW!

Hiya, sorry for your loss ♥ this is my second miscarriage, i had one at 6 weeks, then went onto having my youngest whose 5 now. Then the one this August at 9.5 weeks.
have you have a period in-between? I had surgery, spotted for 7 days, ovulated 14 days after surgery and am today 7dpo. So no period in between. I would be due AF next Friday as I'm a 28 day cycle and ovulate day 14. I was so shocked I ovulated so soon but with cramps, EWCM and OPK matching up what my app and what my body was telling me I can't be mistaken. I'm dying to test but will try and wait lol

I’m so sorry for your losses too. This is also my second loss, I have a 3 year old and had a miscarriage in December, then the recent one in July. It’s heartbreaking isn’t it but makes me more determined to keep trying.

I haven’t had a period either. Pretty much same as you, I stopped bleeding and started tracking ovulation and it predicted it to be a week later. Luckily I carried on testing daily anyway and got a peak early this week - so pleased I tested those days and didn’t miss it!

It’s so tempting to test early! I had a lot of complications with my miscarriage in December so we weren’t able to start trying until February, and it took until June for me to fall pregnant again. So I’m trying not to get my hopes up too much straight away but I have also heard our bodies are more receptive to pregnancy straight after miscarriage 🤞🏼

@SavingNotSpending its heartbreaking, I'm 8dpo today and got a bfn but I knew I would as its early, the months I've actually been pregnant ive not really been trying so only testing on AF due date so I don't know if I'd be one of those that get early bfp. I've read alot about being fertile after the surgery, the uterus lining is fresh and more 'fluffy' and as its brand new tissue its great for the egg sticking! How many dpo are you now? I'm due af next Friday the 23rd which should be 14 days since ovulation. I've got so many symptoms l, cramping since ovulation, sore boobs, loads of twinges and niggles between 5 and 7dpo. Increase cm since ovulation and lots of creamy cm since which is always a good sign for me as usually dry up before af. Have you got any promising symptoms? X

@user1480703514 Just wondering how you got on? I'm in the exact same position.

SavingNotSpending · 31/08/2024 19:20

@user1480703514 sorry I didn’t reply. I got my period the day before it was expected last week, so back to trying again. I reordered the vitamins I had been taking previously so have started those today and got more strips to track ovulation again. Hope you’re doing ok x

@SavingNotSpending hey! I got my period. Exactly 4 weeks to the day from surgery. Im kinda glad in a way as it was very reassuring that eveything is back to normal and working! We're trying again this week actually, due to ovulate in 4 days so back in the cycle of trying. I had every symptom in the 2ww so I'm not gonna test or think about it until af due. It drove me crazy lol where abouts are you in this cycle? X

Mine was exactly 4 weeks after my miscarriage too and same as you said, I’ve tried to see it as a positive that things are back to “normal”. My period finished at the weekend and I’m due to ovulate next Tuesday so we’re loosely following the sperm meets egg plan now. I’m the same as you though, going to try and avoid overthinking it as much this month cos I was so so disappointed last month. Hopefully we both get better news this time 🤞🏼 x

@SavingNotSpending you're not too far behind me then. A school mum announced her pregnancy the same week I would have announced ours at 12 weeks and all I keep doing is thinking, I would of been 16 weeks this Friday and it's killing me. Feeling very empty at the moment and sick to have to start all over from the beginning again. I'm trying not to put pressure on it but it's hard not to when we get one small chance a month. I'm hoping we both have positive outcomes this mmonth fingers crossed the 2ww is bareable 🤞🤞🤞

I know exactly what you mean, it’s so hard isn’t it. Next Monday would have been my 12 week scan so that’s going to be a difficult day. I’ve just read another thread where people are talking about what they did differently on the month they got pregnant and nearly every answer is about not stressing, relaxing, forgetting about it as much as possible. So now I feel like I’m stressed about being stressed too 😅

user1480703514 · 04/09/2024 21:47

@SavingNotSpending to be honest the months I've fallen pregnant its been through not really trying and only testing because I've realised AF didn't show. There's definitely truth in that! I'm trying to stay consciously aware that I'm ovulating this week but not stressing about testing or symptom spotting. I'm aiming to the DTD 6, 4, 2 days before estimated ovulation and day of and day after, so far we've done 6 4 and 2 days before so if I can get another one in Friday on 'ovulation day' and one Saturday I know ive done as much as I can 😂 I'm not telling hubby what days are fertile so it's more fun and not as pressured. I think that's working so far....... he's not complaining at the minute 😂 😂
