Fibroids and miscarriage - surgical or medical management?

After an EPU scan today following some spotting and pain, I've been told the gestational sac is an irregular shape and almost certainly unviable. Absolutely gutted.

I have a follow up scan in two weeks to check for a heart beat but this is pretty much a formality and they expect I could miscarry before then. If I don't, presumably medical or surgical management will be needed so I'm working out my bleak options.

Does anyone (sadly) experienced have any advice? I have a submucosal and large submural fibroid and am concerned about excessive bleeding with either option and potential uterine damage with the surgical route.

I am currently 5+4 so will be 7+4 when this is 100% determined. Grateful for any advice.

Strength and solidarity to anyone having to be on this part of the board.

I've had two medical managed miscarriages and have two small fibroids on the back wall of my uterus. They didn't seem overly concerned and I went down this route rather than surgical due to potential scaring when the sac is so small. So sorry you're going through this-it's a horrible wait xx
