Falling pregnant after vasectomy and early miscarriage

Falling pregnant after your partner has had a vasectomy a few months ago. Has this happened to you or someone you know? Is it possible? How rare is it?

After years of trying, my husband and I had given up trying so he got a vasectomy. A month later we found out I was 1 - 2 weeks pregnant but sadly I had a miscarriage that same week. Despite the vasectomy (which he only really got because we thought it wasn't going to happen for us/wasn't possible) my husband would love to try again, but after this pain I've just been through I don't want to get our hopes up.

Thanks in advance x

There is a possibility that you can fall pregnancy however it’s extremely rare and since it’s happened to you guys your like the extremely rare probability! That sounds really weird to say actually haha.

there’s always a chance to get pregnant, with you saying you’ve been trying for years did you both have any testing done to see why you weren’t falling pregnant?

it’s such a difficult thing in terms of how many years you’ve tried and then you’ve fell pregnant and it’s not viable.

there are people out there who have tried for 10+ years and are now 4 weeks + with their first baby.

it can happen and it will happen, it’s knowing what’s causing the partial infertility.

have you ever thought of taking the IVF route to pregnancy?

if you wanted to try again is it a possibility that he can get his vasectomy reversed?
