Misoprostol fell out during medical management

Hello all, I hope someone can help. I'm currently on missed miscarriage number 3 (but not consecutive, so no investigations will be made). Baby got to 8 weeks, but a scan at 9 weeks showed no heartbeat.

I waited 2 weeks for things to naturally progress, but no luck. Today, I got misoprostol for medical management. I put the four pessaries in at 9pm and made sure to lie down for 1 hour. By 3am I had bad cramps, ran to the loo, and started bleeding. I initially passed a large clot (palm of hand sized) and I think 3 or 4 of the pessaries with it. I didn't want to reinsert the pessaries after they'd been in the loo, but now I'm worrying that my miscarriage will stall. It has been an hour and the bleeding is slower than my previous natural miscarriages. No sign of pregnancy sac or placenta.

I can call epu tomorrow, but wondered if anyone had this sort of experience before. Thank you.

OK, I finally found a medical site that said it doesn't matter, as long as the pessaries were in for 30 minutes. Hopefully it will all work. I haven't completed the miscarriage yet but hoping it'll happen over the next couple of days.
