Travelling after Medical Abortion

Looking for travel advice as I can’t find any online.

I am due to begin a medical abortion on Friday taking the second pill on the Saturday.

I am due to go on holiday the following Thursday, a 5 hour flight.

does anyone know if this is ok ?

I was told I couldn’t fly after a medical abortion but I’m not sure for how long (it wasn’t my preferred option so I didn’t ask any more). I also heard a “friend of a friend” story where someone took the pills and went on holiday, thinking they’d allowed enough time but then had a terrible experience bleeding at the airport. Sorry, don’t mean to worry you but if you can ask your local hospital/GP then I would maybe give yourself more time than you think you’d need.
