Well, here we are.

Somewhere I NEVER expected to be (but don't we all)... One of the "statistics" 🙄. 1 in 4, that's what they say.

4 months ago, we came off the pill. 6 weeks ago, we went on our wedding holiday & honeymoon. 3 weeks ago we had our UK wedding. 1 week ago we found out we were PREGNANT (😭😍). Today we lost.

Last week was the first time I've seen 2 lines on a pregnancy test. The first time ive ever hoped for 2 lines.

Today we tested again, a more faint line. Followed 5 hrs later by bleeding - every hopeful mums worst nightmare. 🥲

My question is, has anyone been through this & how long did it take for you to conceive after?

My heart feels broken, heavy & I can't even express the pain I feel when I go to the toilet and see red 😭🥲

Oh lovely. There’s nothing I can really say that will ease your pain, but I just wanted to reassure you that chemical pregnancies are very common. More than we realise as often they occur without women ever knowing they were pregnant - it’s because we now test before AF is due that we see more of them. Which also means that many many women who have had chemicals go on to have successful pregnancies.

I had a chemical and the very next month I was pregnant with my now 3 year old. And I know others with similar stories, where they got pregnant soon after a chemical.

Sending you love and hope you get your next positive test soon! Xx

Thank you so much.

AF was due last week, so it's been a tough pill to swallow.

I'm sorry you went through the same, but thank you so much for the reassuring outcome.

I know that life has ways of testing us, and our bodies do wonderful things. Right now was just not our time.

However it still sucks. X
