Big bleed at 5 weeks, positive then neg test, still pregnant?

Hi everyone,
just wanted to see if there was a possibility anyone has experienced this.

i tested positive on Monday for pregnancy, bled quite a bit on Thursday and assumed it was a miscarriage, went to hospital etc, wouldn’t scan me as pregnancy test there was negative. Did test the next morning, it was negative which was upsetting but I understand what has happened.

I keep reading threads where women have had heavy bleeds and still managed to be pregnant after it.

❓has anyone here has a big bleed, thought they weren’t pregnant anymore plus had a negative test but it turned out they were actually pregnant?

don’t think it’s possible but you never know… just putting it out there.

I’ve also heard that many people have bleeds during pregnancy but then go on to have healthy pregnancies, however I’d say that since you’re testing negative now I’d unfortunately say it’s most likely you’ve had a loss😓 Don’t think it’s possible to be 5weeks + and test negative…

I had a chemical pregnancy a couple years ago, tested positive at 4.5 weeks, bled for 2 days thinking it was implantation bleeding then after that tested negative straight away so realised it must have been a chemical instead. After that I did go on to conceive just a week later and had a healthy successful pregnancy so hopefully that gives you some reassurance…
