Just looking for some advice please and to see if anyone has any similar experience.
Last Friday (10 days ago), I started feeling really fatigued (like can't get out of bed tired), headache, nausea, period pain like cramping, lightheaded and dizziness, temperature. Went to get up again for work Monday morning and had blurred vision and vision loss in my left eye as well as all the other symptoms above.
Called 111 who sent me to A&E who checked me out and then sent me home saying I was likely coming down with a bad viral infection and to come back if symptoms change (no congestion, no sore throat, no vomiting and diahorrea or anything obviously viral).
Anyway Tuesday morning, feel a bit better and go to get up for work and start bleeding though not due a period for another 10ish days, really heavily like constantly needing to change a pad and this quickly progresses to passing huge clots like the size of the palm of my hand. I called 111 again as it was an alarming amount of blood. Then passed a really huge clot at felt so so much better.
In A&E they tested me for everything and ensured I hadn't lost too much blood, and gave me some antibiotics as they said I also had a uti. My crp was slightly raised. They weren't sure what what causing the bleeding, preg test was negative, though could be missed miscarriage (we are trying for baby no 2 but I havent been actively tracking and testing), or could be uterine tissue which was causing infection. At any rate, the bleeding has really settled now, but I'm still feeling awful just over a week on (fatigued, still sleeping all day, nauseous and can hardly eat). GP has ordered follow up bloods and another appointment.
Just wondering whether anyone has experienced anything similar - infection type symptoms, heavy bleeding potential miscarriage, and still feeling rough and what your outcomes were.
