possible miscarriage

hiya,

i didn’t know where else to turn to for human advice….

i found out i was pregnant over three weeks ago, im around 6 week pregnant, i got a clear blue 3* a few days ago (wasn’t testing daily just had an feeling it would be 3+ by now ). i had hope that meant everything was fine and i wouldn’t miscarry, i know that sounds silly.

anyways this morning i woke up thinking i had wet myself, very watery blood was pouring out. then after i got off the toilet nothing. an hour later im just spotting more brown. i’ve had barely any pain at all. mild cramps which ive had this entire pregnancy.

im not sure what to do, ive only had a chemical pregnancy a few years back which was extremely painful and vlotts. this feels weird and and i don’t know what to make of it

any experiences? the bleeding was very very heavy at least a cup full in one go.

I think this is what I'm having now, I've been bleeding since Sunday lunch, not huge amounts but enough to cover the tissue when I wipe, spoke to epu and they said haematoma but I just did a test and it was negative, I'm assuming I've miscarried and not realized as I've passed no clots or had any pain.

@LottieB3 Hey so sorry for your situation , can I ask how many weeks were you ? If it’s under 5 then I guess there won’t be much clots ect to see , but if you were 6 weeks then I’d assume you’d see some clots and tissue ? Or maybe you was 6 weeks but baby never developed after 4 weeks ? Could this be why you only had bleeding and negative test already ? Xx

I'm 5 and 2 days, I took a test minutes before writing to you and I left the test on the side as I have to take some every now and then until next week to take to the hospital, looking back at it I can see the faintest 2nd line but initially it looked negative, is this a normal thing or? Xx

@LottieB3 yes so sorry to say but it does sound like a very early misscarrige because if you are 5+2 days today , on Sunday you would of been 5 weeks only when bleeding started , and it seems like the pregnancy didn’t go much past 4 weeks because you don’t start bleeding straight away when the pregnancy stops inside , few days later only . So you could of lost it at 4+4 but started the bleed at 5 weeks ( few days later) which explains why you wouldn’t have big clots ect , and you’re test being almost negative too shows signs of failed pregnancy , because at 5+ 2 you should have very very dark lines by now . Dye stealers even , when the test line is stronger than the control line xx I’m not trying to lose your hopes but i am talking realistically and from experience xxx hugs

major update!

two babies in the scan with heart beats,
money in the right place one not. i had a large clot which was what the bleeding was all about and have some strange liquid in my pelvis in pregnancy related which looks concerning, so in hospital waiting to be seenthank you so much for just responding

Blimey!!!! What an update!!! Congratulations!!

Shows these medical professionals really need to pay more attention sometimes and not make assumptions!!!

one baby is in my pelvis not tube! i’m still waiting in the hospital room with no idea what they are going to do! or what normally happens? so so shocked! i feel very confused!

@kmorri wishing you good luck !!! When you have time later can you let us know what you mean by pregnancy in pelvis ? Isn’t that where it’s supposed to be , pelvic is in womb ? But where is the second baby ? Xx

hey quick update!

so the baby that is not in my womb is just in my pelvis i don’t know how to explain where ect!

baby in my womb is very very healthy!

i have a hematoma which won’t effect baby as no where near the sack,

but then they have also found an internal bleed which they have no idea what and where it’s coming from.

they have a special team coming to me on thursday 3pm and am expected a long hospital stay but they see no reason so far that healthy baby won’t continue!

so all scary stuff! my pregnancy is called a hetroeptopic but normally second baby is in the tube whereas mine is not!

also scan dated both babies at 5.6 but then another scan 6.3

Wow! I'm so pleased you pushed for further input/scan. Hopefully you'll get all the support you need now. Sounds very confusing and full on.

1000% i was ready to just accept it as it is! if you hadn’t o genuinely wouldn’t have booked a scan for that soon! i was thinking of leaving it until next week! so so glad 💗 i will keep all updated!
