Is this similar to any one else experience of chemical/early miscarriage?

Try and keep it short
Was due on 12th Jan
Positive pregnancy test x 3 brands on 15th in clear blue digital saying 1-2 weeks. Dates suggested 4+1

16th Jan started to bleed very similar to a period.
17th still bleeding and early symptoms of nausea and tender stomach let up
Today bleeding has completely stopped and negative pregnancy test already.

I am booked for a blood test tomorrow.

I accept I'm not pregnant anymore, however this is my first experience of a loss, so I am wondering how normal the bleeding is. My usual period is heavier and lasts 4/5 days. Surely I should have expected at least that?

Is this a chemical pregnancy or early miscarriage?

Will they be able to tell from one blood test 4 days after the start of bleeding that hcg is too low and confirm no pregnancy or will I need to go back?

I'm just in the realms of concern if body is with holding something as just two days of bleeding doesn't seem enough.

Looking for familiar experiences or questions I should ask the Dr's during blood test.

Thanks

I'm sorry you've lost your baby, OP.
In my experience, the bleeding from a very early miscarriage/chemical pregnancy is about the same as a period.

The blood test will confirm that you're no longer pregnant. You shouldn't need to go back.

The amount of bleeding can be more or less than your normal period. I wouldn't expect you to have anything retained.
