Passed this today at 10 weeks. Have had brown discharge previously but saw the baby on a scan last week. Slight cramping and back pain but not enough for tablets. I have a scan booked for next week but can anyone offer any advice/reassurance?

Obviously I’m not doctor but a miscarriage is bright red blood clots and significant cramping. Lots of love xx

Thank you @Unitedthebest I’ve not passed anything else since. Any idea what it could be to put my mind at rest?

I wouldn’t say it’s over yet! Sending love and baby dust! Xx

Get yourself to the early pregnancy unit for a scan. I had pockets of blood that were dark brown like that throughout one of my pregnancies and that brown colour means it’s old so less likely to be a miscarriage but you still need to be checked. Good luck!

It might still be okay, OP.

I'm so sorry you've got this worry. If you're not bleeding or in pain, those are good signs.

It actually looks like the show you get at the end of a full-term pregnancy.

If you were losing the baby, you'd have had bleeding and pain.

How are you, @Newusername2024
