Would twisting awkwardly in the car cause an early miscarriage?

I spent yesterday (Saturday) in a&e whilst having a suspected miscarriage, my bloods came back and the doctor had said my hcg was really low even for how far along I was supposed to be (6 weeks).
I have three healthy children and had had 3 great pregnancies so this miscarriage did come as a shock to me.
Tonight I suddenly remembered that earlier in the week (maybe Wednesday) I had twisted in the car to pass my toddler something and when doing so I felt a sharp pain in the side of my stomach. Could this possibly be linked to the miscarriage ?
Bleeding began two days after this.
I know I will probably never know why it happened but it's killing me wondering 😩

Of course not.

I'm sorry you're going through this.
No, twisting in the car didn't cause this. It would have been a genetic cause if your hCG was so low, but twisting doesn't cause miscarriages.

I really don’t think so. At this stage of the pregnancy it most likely just wasn’t compatible with life and there’s nothing you could have done. I’m sorry it must be horrible not knowing the reason but if it were that easy to accidentally induce a miscarriage nobody would have healthy pregnancies. I really don’t think it was your fault.

No. The pain in your side when you twisted would be one of your abdominal muscles complaining. Nothing to do with your uterus.
The low hcg probably meant that this pregnancy was ill-fated. I’m very sorry for your loss.

I’m so sorry you’re going through this OP. Please be assured, you did nothing to cause this. Take care X
