I'm talking to my doctor later today but was wondering if anyone's had a similar experience.
I had a MMC at the end of October and was unlucky enough to need two rounds of surgical management (November and mid-December).
After the second surgery I took a test at 1, 2 and 3 weeks, and they showed gradually fainter lines. Week 3 was very faint but still just about there.
DH and I have only had sex twice since then, on 24 December and 31 December.
I took a test this morning as my period still hasn't returned and it was a strong positive. I took another in case it was a dodgy test, and it was still really clear.
I'm trying not to get excited but am hoping it might be a new pregnancy. However, it seems odd that the line is so strong given that I couldn't be more than 10-17dpo. Perhaps it's because I had a bit of HcG left over and then conceived?
If anyone did conceive before having a period after surgical MMC management, were you able to get an early scan to confirm the pregnancy and help with dating?
