Hi there,

I just wanted to share my story and also get any success stories.

currently a mum of 1 aged 43.

2013 I started trying to conceive, fell pregnant reasonably quick.

Dec 2013 - MC 1 at 5 weeks
2014 saw a year of trying, ovarian drilling for pcos, tests and scans.
2014 Dec- finally fell pregnant with my son.

Fast forward to Dec 2022, different husband both very shocked to discover im pregnant.

Jan 2023 - MC number 2 at 6.5 weeks. This was after a very traumatic scan where no baby or sac was found but HCG was at 577 a week of trips to the hospital and bloods but luckily a natural MC.

2023 saw a year of tests for me and DH, scans, tube flushed and my letrozole under a specialist.

Dec 2023 - my first letrozole cycle I get a positive pregnancy test Christmas Day. HCG is monitored but unfortunately didn’t double.

14dpo HCG 68 progesterone 66
19dpo HCG 151 progesterone 58
21dpo HCG 177 progesterone 39

Currently 23 dpo (5 weeks) and waiting to MC to start.

It’s a weird feeling after a year of being desperate to see those lines now just wanted it to end so I can start again. But I am dreading it potentially taking another year And of course a 4th loss.

Does anyone have any success stories?

When I say success stories, I mean if successful pregnancy and live birth that didn’t take another year

Just for completeness of this thread 25dpo my hcg dropped to 97 and progesterone to 5. I started the mc exactly 1 year to the day and hour of my last on 28dpo.

Now for genetic testing and then to try again

Positive pregnancy tests then pain in left side of abdomen started bleeding went to hospital to be told miscarriage and negative urine test but positive blood test with very low hcg in it and sent home. Now experiencing pain in my shoulder could it be ectopic or would it be fine that my tests are now negative and very low hcg in blood tests. Very worried about it but was told I didn’t need scan as they think the hcg is to low to ectopic

I would get a follow up but was told any HCG under 1000 wouldn’t show on a scan. Maybe ask for a tube flush hsg
