Hi,
I'm 27 years old and I have been TTC first time ever in my life in March 2023, I came off cerelle on which I was on for many years. In March my weight was 60kg and I was healthy to start trying.
I have had a positive prgnancy test in April 2023, I was shocked that I managed to get pregnant so fast after stopping contraception, only to start heavily bleeding 3 days later, I was confused and upset but heard about chmical pregnancies and them being very common.
Month later same thing happened, another chemical prgnancy.. I went to my GP and got told that its normal and continue trying. So I did, a month later, in June, I was pregnant again, this time I thought it was going to be it, third time lucky.. my breast were even more swollen and started getting more symptoms, at nearly 5 weeks I got a really heavy bleeding. GP didn't help and didn't want to refer me anywhere.
In July I didn't get pregnant even though we continued trying. In August I had a positive test again but didn't have my hopes up, I quickly booked a flight to Poland to see a gynecologist privately, once I got there I had another heavy bleeding, he confirmed a chemical pregnancy and I also had a scan done, which showed two small uterine fibroids. On my return to the UK I decided to stop trying and that I need to figure out what exactly is wrong with me. I have been healthy, exercising, having a vegan diet, not eating sugar.. since March until September I've put on almost 30kg in weight, I didn't know what was happening to me but I felt tired, depressed and developed really bad eczema all over my body.
In Septmeber I went to see a GP (different GP this time) and told her my story, finally she decided to do full hormonal blood testing and scans of my uterus. In October I found out I have abnormally high prolactin levels, I'm not on any medication and my thyroid is perfect. Also found out my fibroids have completely cleared! They repeated tests in November, again, very high levels.. no explanation to why this could be. I have another test booked in for end of January, this time with a specialist team to find out more.
Has anyone experienced anything similar? Any advice?
Thank you!
