I'm not sure what it is sweetheart but sending you a hug. If you've been bleeding constantly since, and you've passed that this evening, I think I'd call and ask for medical advice, particularly if the flow has increased since passing it. You could develop a nasty infection.

Meganann · 23/10/2023 20:21

I passed that the 29th july after my baby came out and thank you x

Sorry for your loss. But I am confused with your timings? You said you had the MC end of July. Then the blood clot/thing in photo. But have been bleeding since (so 3 months?). And you have tinsel in the photo just to realty confuse things…

Meganann · 23/10/2023 20:23

tinsel we left up as my boy is autistic and loves it sorry on the 29th I passed my baby and then after my baby I passed that I’m just hoping it’s normal and not my uterus

Hi OP did this happen in July? Slightly confused

wetnwindy49 · 23/10/2023 20:36

It won't be your uterus you're still bleeding now 3 months later?

Meganann · 23/10/2023 20:38

hiya yeah this is in July I’m just hoping that it’s normal to pass something like that.

Yeah I’m still bleeding now light hospital said to take pregnancy test which I have to see if anything is left in and it’s negative but I’m just hoping what I passed is normal as if not I will push for them to see me

It’s not your uterus, that is attached inside, it can’t just come out.
sorry for your loss

Meganann · 23/10/2023 20:47

Thank you I’ve been losing my mind over it for the past months and hospital is useless. And google wasn’t good as stage 4 apparently it can come out

Sorry for your loss x
If you passed this not long after the sac, could this be the placenta? I had a miscarriage last year and I passed the sac and then something similar to this, which I assumed was the placenta. Although the bleeding is definitely something you should get checked out 3 months on x

vipersnest1 · 23/10/2023 21:00

There is tissue mixed in with a big clot.
Given that you are still bleeding now, you need to be checked.
Are you feeling well? If any signs of a fever or feeling generally unwell, call 111 at the minimum.

It won’t be your uterus but I would be insisting on a scan to make sure there is no more “retained products” (horrible term) as this can be dangerous for you due to risk of heavy blood loss and/or infection.

Meganann · 23/10/2023 21:07

I did think it was the placenta and hospital turned me away and then the baby hospital where I had the tablets said if the test is positive then they will scan me but it’s not x

Meganann · 23/10/2023 21:08

Yeah I’m completely fine and even when it came out I was fine too was just worried and hospital turned me away and then the baby hospital where I had the tablets said if the test is positive then they will scan me but it’s not x

It is absolutely not your uterus. Your uterus can't come out completely. Even with a prolapse it's still attached.
It's most likely a bit of left behind tissue/blood clot. Better out than in as you heal and repair.
Sorry for your loss.

Pumpkinspice13 · 23/10/2023 23:14

It’s a large blood clot, completely normal. I passed large clots after both my miscarriages. You would test positive if you had any pregnancy tissue remaining. You shouldn’t still be bleeding though and should see your doctor about that. He should be able to give you something to stop it.
