Afew months ago now but I still think about it and never really got any answers.
I had bleeding when I was roughly 7 weeks pregnant. EPU offered me a scan to which they said everything looked fine and that I was approx 5 weeks 5 days. My cycles can be abit irregular so I thought my dates must be wrong. They did offer me another scan two weeks later. At that scan despite measuring approx 7 weeks there was no heartbeat and they could only see a fetal pole. I had to wait another two weeks for confirmation. Again at the next week they confirmed there had been growth but no heartbeat. At the time I was just upset and not taking anything in.
Two weeks later I went in for medical management I would have been about 11/12 weeks. When the baby passed I was shocked by the size and could clearly make out feet. I remember trying to ask if it was normal for the baby to grow but never got an answer. I know they scanned me 3 times so I'm sure they were not wrong. I just wondered if this situation happened to others/is it normal?
