10 months after mc periods are heavy

Hi any advise please anyone else dealing with this I had a missed miscarriage back in November my first miscarriage I bled heavy December then from Jan to April my periods went back to 5 days from May they have last anything from 6 to 9 days with spotting before and spotting red/pink up to two days after I have had an ultrasound that doesn't seem to have showed anything apart from a fibroid and mild endometrial fluid I do have a smear booked at the end of this month I'm feeling abit worried has anyone experienced this if so did it ever get back to Normal

Hi oh dear I feel your pain I had a missed miscarriage in feb , had a D&C I wish I hadn’t as i got an infection after it and traumatic pain , went back to hospital, my period came back in March and in April found it heavy and from May and June it got heavier and started hemorraging where I ended up in hospital on a drip and collapsed following that I started having on and off abnormal bleeds followed by clots and thought what the help I can’t cope any longer the doctor then gave me Depo provera injection which has thinned the lining of my uterus and stopped the bleeds it only lasts for 3 months at a time so I’m going to see in the next while how my body goes as the 3 months are almost up , it’s also a contraceptive but ya the body can take time to heal and we have no idea or being told that this can happen ! Apparently it can take several months to get back to normal and everyone is different

Sorry for your loss it's horrible not knowing what the cause of the bleeding is my doctors is no help they tell me its nothing to do with the miscarriage and sometimes periods just go haywire my periods have always been regular thats why im thinking its got to be due to my mmc I've been put on iron tablets as my iron levels have been really low they dont seem to know what's going on with me I will have to nag them abit more and query about the injections to see if that might help

Hello, I’m so sorry for your loss. I had a d&c for a mmc august 1st I was 9 weeks pregnant and my periods have gone haywire since! After d&c I got my period back at 28 days which is spot on for me im always regular. Then I got another heavy “period” two weeks after that one. Then started spotting almost every day of this cycle… I don’t know what’s happening but it’s very frustrating.
