Hi I am currently on my 3rd miscarriage in 6 months and wondering if anyone has used Nova Fertility? I have just booked an online appt and had to pay to book my reflexologist recommended the doctor but she seems to work at various places and the website just seems a bit odd so want to make sure it’s actually real.

Hi I know this is an old post but is there any updates on this? How long did your reports take to come through? We had our appointment last Wednesday and I was told I’d be prescribed progesterone and higher folate acid but I’m still yet to hear back from them.

Hiya, I had to chase it up a couple of times it didn’t come straight away I think it took about a week? There is an email address for a lady called Barbara and I just emailed her to ask for progress.

I was the same, I had to chase a couple of times. I believe there was a number for Barbara on the website as well and I had more luck calling her than waiting for a reply via email.

Thank you! I was worrying it was just me I have emailed and managed to get through to her on the phone so hopefully won’t be long now ! 🤞🤞

Hi, @Pumpkinmoo how long did it take for you to finally get your report? Also did you use the prescription delivery service? Thanks

Pumpkinmoo · 19/04/2024 07:25

@Rainbow1985 Hi lovely it took me around 9 days to get the report I rang the lady called Barbara and she was really helpful! I used the prescription service fertility2u and they were fab i received it about 3 days after getting the report back :)

Thank you for updating me. I only had my appointment on Wednesday so hopefully I get the report next week. Good luck

Hi,

I know this is an old thread but hoping someone can help me.

I have an appointment booked with Nova (Dr Mohiyiddeen) tomorrow but the confirmation email doesn’t have any information regarding logging on to a call, which I assumed was Zoom or similar? I’ve tried phoning and emailing to confirm but the number on the website won’t connect and not had a response from Barbara. I’m maybe worrying about nothing and they’ll either send me a further email with joining instructions or I’ll just receive a normal phone call tomorrow but starting to freak out a little that I’ve paid £200 for a scam or something 🙈

Hoping someone here can put my mind at rest by clarifying how their appointment was organised!

@TellMeSweetLittleLines I’ve just looked back at my emails and it looks like I got the zoom information through at 08:00am on the day of my consultation from Barbara and my zoom was at 21:00 that evening. Hope this helps and I hope everything goes okay 💕

Thank you so much! That has put my mind at rest - I worry far too much about this sort of thing 🙈

Just thought I’d update this in case it’s helpful to anyone else looking for information on Nova.

I received my Zoom invite a couple of hours prior to the appt. Dr Mohiyideen was slightly late but that’s certainly no different to any other Dr appt! She was very nice and clearly knowledgable. I was concerned about symptoms of low progesterone following chemical pregnancy. She agreed my symptoms (spotting 2-3 days before period and more pre-menstrual symptoms in general) were consistent with low progesterone and is prescribing me cyclical progesterone.

Very happy with that outcome and whilst the prescription won’t be cheap I feel it’s worth my time and sanity rather than pursuing it through the NHS, following the experience of a friend who had a right old time for about 6 months trying to get progesterone through the NHS system despite them having actually diagnosed her with low progesterone!

Just need to cross my fingers now for two pink lines and a sticky baby! ❤️
