Periods after a missed m/c at 12 weeks

Hi all, I had a missed m/c at 12 weeks around 5 weeks ago. I'm patiently waiting for my period so that we can ttc again. Does anyone have any experience or ideas as to when I can expect it please?

Hi, Sorry to hear about your miscarriage. I think it can vary hugely but an average of 6 weeks is often mentioned. For me its usually been between 4 and 6 weeks. I'm not sure how much it matters whether you have an ERPC or not. I know how frustrating it is waiting for your system to get back to normal so hope it comes soon.

i had missed m/c with ERPC on 10 december and didn't get a period until 26 january.

well - would you believe it......AF has just made an appearance. I had a medical miscarriage and they warned me that my nexy AF could be very heavy one. Well they weren't wrong. Thanks for answering my thread. take care to you all.

Maybe because I had ERPC I had a rather normal period afterwards.

Having another long cycle again this time round, however, but as we are not TTC I'm not bothered.
