Medical management - How long did you cramp/pass clots?

Had medical management on Sunday at the hospital and the nurse was happy with what I had passed and let me go home. I have had cramping and bleeding not too heavy like a normal period ever since. However this morning I have passed a clot. From everything I have read the bleeding should be getting lighter and cramping calming down.
The nurse said to call if bleeding was very heavy such as filling a pad in an hour which it is not at the moment. Just wondered others experiences and if this is still normal at this stage?

Sorry you’re dealing with this. Not sure my story is helpful as I’ve ended up with retained products, but I had occasional clots for a week or so after the medical management. I think that can be normal even without RP. Up to 3 weeks bleeding is normal, isn’t it?

I am sorry for your loss.
I had very little bleeding after my D&C, less than a normal period and only for 2 or 3 days

Very sorry I didn’t read properly, I see you didn’t have surgery

Hi ,
sorry for your loss, I had medical management following my 14 week loss.
I bled heavily for 4days with quite a few clots so I wouldn’t worry. My full bleeding lasted for about 11 days but the majority of that was light bleeding with no clots.

please try not to worry right now, heavy bleeding is normal after a miscarriage and everyone is different.

Keep an eye on the bleeding and check it doesn’t get heavier rather than lighter in the next few days. If that happens or you start filling pads quickly or you get a temperature call the gynae ward or 111.

again I’m so sorry you’re going through this it is the worst thing x
