One of the hardest things I've been through I think🙁. We were TTC our third child, (I'm nearly 40). I was originally told I'd had a complete miscarriage on 8th May (wound have been 7 weeks), EPU had seen g sac and yolk sac in right place, was floored by this and then they also found a mass outside uterus on scan. Was rescanned as hCG still around 700 after 10 days after mc, was then told pregnancy might have been in the cesarean scar so had to go back to EPU.
Finally had some more answers and a plan today from EPU after a much longer scan.
I have retained products in the neck of my uterus which need to come out firstly (had 4 tabs inserted this morning) and tablets to take again tomorrow. If that doesn’t work then I’ll have D&C surgery next week. They don't think the retained tissue is attached to c section scar.
Once hcg is zero then I'll have an MRI for the mass they've found and then take things from there.
Does anyone have any success storied for passing retained products with misoprostol or stories? I'm hoping to avoid surgery if I can and the sooner I get a neg hCG then the sooner I can have a MRI and figure out whether we can TTC again.
