TW ** Miscarriage at 7 weeks is this normal?

Looking for some advice please
Late for my period, pregnancy test revealed I was pregnant.
However, after two weeks, I miscarried at 7 weeks. Bleeding was extremely heavy, to put it bluntly, by the time I had changed my pad upstairs and made my way downstairs, I had bled through a heavy pad, my trousers and the carpet.
Bleeding remained quite heavy for about a week and a half. The pain was in the lower right hand side of my stomach, no matter where I pushed on my stomach the pain would always be the right side. My mother was convinced something wasn't right so asked me to visit the drs. They felt my stomach and took my BP and said all looks fine.
Bleeding had calmed down when I hit 2 weeks after miscarriage, it was going more pinky coloured so I thought all was going well. Today I have woken up, bleeding heavier and have soaked through again. Is this normal? My mom is quite concerned and is convinced something isn't right. I'm sure it's all fine and I'm reluctant to go back to the GP for them to refer me to a hospital for a scan; last time I went for a scan at the hospital for the same thing, I was there for 8 hours and they refused to scan me despite having the GP letter.
I did do a pregnancy test about 1 week and 5 days after miscarriage, pregnancy test had a darker line than my 1st pregnancy test but this is probably down to my hormones.
Sorry for rambling, just looking for reassurance this is normal!

@EstieGreenwood wholeheartedly agree with you, I ended up walking out if I remember rightly (was about a year ago) as they had tried prescribing me medication to stop the bleeding. My lovely GP called me the day after to see how I'd got on and I told him they'd refused the scan and prescribed me this medication to which he said to not take it as if it was a miscarriage my body needed to clear the tissue out. Still to this day, never knew if it was a miscarriage - think that's the hardest part never getting the closure you so desperately need in a time like that.
Thank you so much, today has been a bit of an off day. I thought I'd be back on my feet as usual, but have quite literally struggled to catch my breath just from walking down the stairs! I'm sure it will ease up soon. Sending lots of hugs x

Hi at exactly 6 weeks I started to get light brown spotting that continued for a week, at exactly 7 weeks I started bleeding heavily but didn’t have any cramping. I went to the bathroom and felt a need to push and this came out. It looks like it is the baby but I didn’t think it would be that big at just 6/7 weeks. I think it is a miscarriage though i just wanted to ask anyone else’s opinions?? I have a scan in 2 days but it is driving me crazy not knowing for sure ! Xx
