Chemical pregnancy and then missed miscarriage

Just looking for a bit of advice if anyone has been in the same position. I had a chemical pregnancy at Christmas and fell pregnant again straight away. Unfortunately this one wasn’t meant to be either and had a missed miscarriage at 11 weeks - baby stopped growing at 6 weeks.
I know that you are meant to be super fertile after any kind of pregnancy, successful or not but is there any downsides of trying again straight away or have I just been unlucky?
I should say that I have had two successful pregnancies already so I don’t think there is anything underlying health wise.

Thanks xxxx

I am so sorry to hear of your losses. I had a miscarriage in January at 12 weeks, 2 days before our first scan was due. I also have had a successful pregnancy before, baby girl is 15 months now, so can relate to this a lot. We started trying again as soon as we could, for me the bleeding lasted 3 weeks then I ovulated a few days later, much earlier than the 6-8 weeks usually advised that it takes for your period/ovulation to come back, so that was our first try, just over 3 weeks after the event itself. I don't think there are any downsides to trying again so quickly, as long as you've had the go ahead from the dr/hospital if you went? x

Thanks for your reply and sorry to hear of your experience also.
I had to have a Mva and all the Drs and midwives we spoke to were all very reassuring about trying again as everything looked as it should.
It’s great to hear how quickly you were able to try again though, I still have some light bleeding which hopefully ends soon.
take care xx
