Hi all,
I've had one MMC at 12 weeks and 2 chemical pregnancies in the last year, and now am struggling to conceive at all. We are planning to have IVF in the summer so I'm trying to have all of the recurrent miscarriage tests before that, in case there's an underlying issue that needs treatment. I've done of the NHS recurrent miscarriage tests (which were normal, apart from having PCOS) and I'd like to arrange the NK cells test, but am not sure where to go?
I've been at the Evewell for PCOS treatment and they offer the NK cells test, but not sure if it is very thorough compared to other specialist immune clinics, e.g., Dr Shehata's CRP clinic or Dr Gorgy. It would most likely be cheaper and more straightforward to do it at the Evewell, as I'm already a patient and they know my history etc.
Is it better to have the NK cells test at a specialist immune clinic compared to a standard (but high performing) IVF/fertility clinic? Has anyone been in my situation and got advice?
Thanks so much x
