GP checking blood for low progesterone

Hi all,

I have recently been had chemical miscarriages and have been referred to the recurrent miscarriage clinic which we know can take a very long time for your initial consultation. When chatting to my GP I would've expected them to ask to do a blood test for myself to check progesterone levels, was so overwhelmed at the appointment I forgot to ask.

I wondered if people managed to get their bloods taken via their GP before waiting to go to the RMC or have I got this completely wrong? If it is my progesterone levels that are low it seems that this would be a much quicker way to solve it?

Thanks everyone x
