TW: Picture of tissue/miscarriage?

So I was a week late for my period. I am on contraceptive patches meaning I take them off ever three weeks to have my period and then put new one on to restart my cycle. I have been thinking about whether there is a possibility for me to still get pregnant on the Evra patch and then for it to induce a period anyway?

Yesterday I started cramping a bit and felt a bit weird in my abdomen area, which I thought was my period starting and so thought it was normal, I went to the toilet and once I got up I saw this: (photo)

It was quite small, size of my thumb’s nail and light pink, I thought maybe it’s just a piece of my uterus because I only bled a little bit and didn’t feel anything other than my usual period cramps. Now I’m bleeding and having cramps like I usually do on my period.

It just looks a little odd and I wanted to hear opinions from other people.

Did you have a positive pregnancy test? If not why does it even matter. Doesn’t look like anything and if your period has started I would just say move on.

A 6 week pregnancy sac is around 12 mm.
Mine mc around 6 weeks was the size of a little finger nail, so smaller than thumb nail. It was also pretty rounded.

At 7 weeks, your baby should be about 5 to 9 millimeters (mm) in size and the gestational sac will be about 18 to 24 mm

A baby would be about the size of a poppyseed, I believe, at this stage, so don't worry. The size of a thumbnail is about 9 weeks, which is a good few weeks past your missed period.

Why do you think you Knight get pregnant on the contraceptive patch?

I haven’t taken a pregnancy test in a while because I am on the contraceptive patch and so I didn’t feel the need to take one, it was just that constant doubt of the patch in the back of my head that made me think what if I have gotten pregnant and the patch could be inducing a period if that makes sense, because really I can stop the period for another week if I don’t take the patch off so it was just a thought that it might work vice versa and it might’ve forced a period even though I was pregnant.

It’s just something that was at the back of my head but I wouldn’t want to use any other contraceptive method e.g. implant because I am really squeamish. I have gained a little weight in the last month and all but that could just be for no reason, but that’s also why I was like oh maybe the patch didn’t work. Maybe it wasn’t the size of a thumb nail but I didn’t take it out so I couldn’t really compare it to anything. But thank you guys for replying and letting me know it doesn’t look like one I really appreciate it.

And I’m sorry to hear about your MC VeryLittleBrain, I hope you’re doing well.

Advice needed, so im 7 weeks 5 days pregnant but question im not sure if i have miscarried or its just normal in early pregnancy, ive been bleeding for 5 days straight but not to heavy just like a normal period, ive only had miniature clots only a few and a little pain on sunday tha5 sunsided over night, but i haven't passed any tissue or large clots and my scan isnt until Thursday, its my first pregnancy and im panicing, could this be normal bleeding or a miscarriage ?

You need to contact your early pregnancy unit because if you have been bleeding like a period then it could be a miscarriage. Any bleeding should be checked out
