Miscarriage started on Christmas morning. Are you fucking kidding me?

I've known for a few days that the baby had died at 8 weeks so it wasn't totally unexpected. But fuck me the timing couldn't be worse. I should be 12 weeks so it didn't seem like the tissue would pass by itself and I was booked in for medical management next week. It's just started by itself, on Christmas fucking morning. You couldn't make it up. As if it isn't shitty enough.

I can't tell anyone but my DH, who is being wonderful. I needed to tell someone else. Thanks to whoever reads this.

Oh you poor soul. I've been through two MMC though both in hospital.

Sorry for your loss. Ime keeping moving will speed things along.
If you are worried about excessive bleeding ring a medic for advice mind...
Once I passed an intact foetus the bleeding and pain more or less stopped.. Be prepared is what I am saying.

I used to say that my cervix knew how to ruin a party - I had a miscarriage on my birthday and at Christmas, so I empathise completely. Be kind to yourself today today OP.

I've been bleeding since Monday on and off various colours. I knew in my head it was mc. I then developed a water infection, doctor wouldn't see me. 111 pissed me about. Chemist wouldn't prescribe as I hadn't been officially told it was mc. Eventually got told to go to the hospital last night. Was there 7 til 9. They give me some anti biotics as I do have ecoli in my water (had give a sample to doctors on wed!). Double whammy. I've just recovered from strep too.

Trying to make the most of it. Timing is awful. Hope you're okay OP and enjoy your day with your loved ones. Xx

I’m so sorry, OP. Life can seem very cruel sometimes.

I had a miscarriage years ago. It started when I was about to board a plane, travelling alone with my toddler. I’d just been to visit family abroad and shared my happy news with them all. It felt like the shittiest timing ever.

Im sorry for your loss. I’m in exactly the same boat as you and mine started just gone midnight. I have told everyone except DC who is too young to know because why should I suffer alone. It’s fucking shit.

I'm so sorry for your loss. Try to save the embryo for testing.

I'm going through a MC now, 2 MC's in a row and both on Christmas. Can't find a way or reason to celebrate Christmas anymore. Then all doctors are on holiday and have to wait until it's not a Public Holiday to finally see one and hope has availability soon for a D & C.

You are not alone. My baby stopped growing at 7 weeks, we found out yesterday at our early scan which was supposed to be a happy time just before Christmas. She said it was a missed miscarriage, although I fully knew going in there that something was wrong. I was advised to seek medical management on Monday, yet today I started miscarrying naturally. I was supposed to be 10 weeks tomorrow, life seems unfair.

I’m so sorry, this happened to me in October, I didn’t make it to my medical management date in time. I did bleed period like bleeding for a few days prior to actually passing anything, my experience was quite painful but as someone has said once it’s passed the pain suddenly goes. Sending ❤️ is so sh*tty and unfair xxx

I've had 4 miscarriages and 2 of them on boxing Day. It's just cruel, cruel anyway but on such a memorable day.

I had the same happen about three years ago, but had recurrent miscarriages, had had several before so knew what to expect, told my parents and Dh and tried to take it as easy as possible, not so easy to do on Christmas Day. I’m so sorry you’re going through this, today if all days.
I had emergency surgery for an ectopic on my daughters birthday and remember thinking why? Of all the days in the year, why that day.
