When to expect bleeding after a chemical pregnancy?

Hi ladies

BFP on 16th Nov, 17th, 18th Nov (and I was 4 weeks pregnant on 18th Nov - 14 days post ovulation)

Then I started feeling more noticeable period type pains (still very mild, but just more noticeable) and I had some brown spotting and pink cm on 18th Nov - I think two stains approx 50p sized on pantyliner and upon wiping etc. Pregnancy test then was much fainter that eve. More browny spotting/watery discharge on 20th Nov (yesterday) and mild cramps. Pregnancy tests that morning v light and now today they're saying negative.

I've called docs and it's obv being treated as a chemical pregnancy and I've just go to let them know in a week what my test says - positive obv then I go in for scan, negative and then I think that's it. But I also think that's on the basis of them expecting me to bleed properly before then.

I'm just wondering when I should be expecting to start having the proper bleed? Most people seem to bleed and then their tests go negative but there's been nothing all day on wiping. TMI but I gently inserted a finger to check CM when I was in the shower and it was a sort of browny/grey like brown spotting mixed with a bit of CM. But not a lot and that's been it.

Is it just because my HCG levels haven't gone down enough? The mild periody cramps have been non existent for the last 24 hours too.

I'm sure I'm not pregnant anymore as my breasts are no longer as tender and they feel sort of deflated. Also no longer bloated. And of course the negatives tests after the line faded.. .just worried it might end up needing medication to get it out but I've not heard of that for a chemical?
