Just had surgery for my miscarriage, is it safe to have a bath?

Had my surgery for my miscarriage today. Physically don't feel too awful apart from some cramping and a little bit of bleeding.

Am I safe to have a bath? My partner brought me some lovely bubble bath and bath bombs and would like to have a nice relaxing bath.

The nurse said no sea swimming or swimming pools for 2 weeks but didn't mention baths!

No you shouldn’t, for 2 weeks. You are high risk for infection and the same logic applies, it’s about preventing potentials for infections getting into your vagina. Sorry for your loss.

Thank you! But I had one....I spoke to my MIL who said I'd be fine as long as its just water no products.

Finger crossed It'll be fine!

I've only just got the notification of your reply 😥
