Help I’ve had miscarriage & still have severe pain a week later

I had a miscarriage a week ago, was very early into pregnancy (around 6 weeks)

I’m in absolute agony a week later. I have severe stomach pain. I have tried ringing an urgent treatment centre and they told me they couldn’t help me. I doubt a&e will be able to help. I can’t contact my GP as I’m not in my home town right now.

What do I do? I believe that I’m in pain due to an incomplete miscarriage. This happened to me five years ago, I ignored symptoms and it ended up going septic so I’m very keen to get this resolved and have the remains removed.

Who so I contact in this circumstance?

So sorry for your loss and sending you hugs. I think I'd call 111 and ask them for advice. They should also be able to tell you where you can go local to your current location.

Yes, call 111. You may have an infection.

I did speak to 111 and they told me to ring the urgent treatment centre who basically just fobbed me off and told me to ring a maternity clinic (not sure if that’s exactly what it’s called but he gave me the number for them) they told me they couldn’t help me and to go to a&e, but from everything I’ve heard they don’t deal with miscarriages (unless it’s a life or death situation).

I don’t have any signs of infection (temperature, discharge) it’s just pain from incomplete miscarriage but from everything I’ve read they don’t treat this, I might be wrong though.
