Unsure of what to do

I had a miscarriage 4weeks ago (girl) 🥺 and I miscarried at 15 weeks but was measuring ahead..
Everything has been sweet but I took a pregnancy test 2 days ago and have come back positive but I'm also starting to get super dizzy and light-headed even when all I'm doing is just relaxing.. I'm seeing my doctor today but I'm wondering if this is normal or if my hcg levels are still meant to be high or if its meant to be high enough for a pregnancy test to show positive that quick and all...
So many questions but wasn't told enough when I left the hospital

If you only had a miscarriage 4 weeks ago that seems way to soon to get pregnant again. Your body needs time to readjust and you would probably not have had a chance to ovulate again so soon. I would be sceptical that this is a genuine positive pregnancy result as it could well be HCG left from the previous pregnancy.
Have u worked out if it would even be possible....intercourse timing etc? Most health professionals recommend a period of abstinence after a miscarriage to allow for bleeding to settle and the body to readjust. They also normally advise you to wait for your body to have another normal period and for your cycle to go back to normal, so IMO 4 weeks is not long enough for this to have happened. All the best and hope u get some clarification soon.

It's possible to get pregnant so soon after a miscarriage...I did as your body is super fertile. I know how awful it feels and the want for a baby afterwards. I hope you're okay x

I shall know after my drs appt today what's going on and what tests that'll need to be done and all
If it is a positive and I am ill be extremely scared and all @heartbroken22 @harri2214
I've been told it's possible it's just the hcg levels but I have to go get bloods done today to make sure, we were advised to wait 2 weeks before intercourse

Hi OP. I'm so sorry for your loss.

Can I ask what your aftercare was? Have you been seen/scanned following? I'm glad your seeing a doctor today, if your still testing positive it's likely they'll refer you for some tests today to check alls okay.

Chasingdreams75 · 11/07/2022 04:50

@Missync
Thank you
Unfortunately I didn't get told much with my after care, I was told to wait 6 weeks before having am ultrasound and all that but I've decided to see my Dr in about n hr to see if I can go for am ultrasound and get tests done now to make sure im going ok and that nothing is wrong and stuff as I'm worried... I haven't seen anyone since it happened as we didn't just lose our daughter I also lost my step daughter and my partner lost a couple close friends of his as well in a car crash..
But I decided last night it's been way too long and I can't wait another 2 weeks for it to be all done... I bled for a week and half straight but then had a couple days of just spotting I haven't bled or anything since.. I have had intercourse and stuff since I've stopped bleeding with my partner

Chasingdreams75 · 14/07/2022 14:55

@Missync Ultrasound came back clear and all but seeing the Dr tomorrow to confirm and find out how my bloods went and all... I feel a bit down knowing that I'm not but I'm happy at the same time as it's too soon
Thanks for checking in
