My symptoms:
Lower back pain
Mild on/off cramps
Pink and then dark red spotting yesterday (now stopped)
Discomfort right side of pelvic
Urge to have a poo even after i have had a normal poo

Sorry this is happening to you… honestly the main symptom for me was slow rising HCG (only got to 342 at 8 weeks). Are you having blood tests to monitor levels?

Otherwise it was mainly a bad stomach, mild cramps, loss of symptoms and heavy bleeding (three weeks before I was diagnosed ectopic - the fact my HCG kept rising after heavy bleeding/an empty womb pointed towards ectopic).

hoping for better news for you.

Sorry you're going through this.

I started light brown spotting at 5.5 weeks, which progressed to a normal "period" with period cramps like I would normally have. I was told to test in a week to see if the test was negative, but it wasn't. Over the next 3 weeks I experienced increasing discomfort but it was all quite vague and no sharp pains in any particular place. I was referred for a scan after 4 weeks (I would have been 9.5 weeks pregnant if viable) and it was found on the scan. Because it was resolving naturally, I was just monitored until my blood hCG was zero.

I didn't identify it as ectopic from the list of NHS symptoms, and if I hadn't known I was pregnant I probably just would have soldiered on thinking I was feeling a bit under the weather.

Hope all goes well as it can at your appointment

Sorry to hear you’re going through a scary time.
I woke up just over 5weeks pregnant with excruciating pain in right groin, came and went in waves until I was crawling around the house, felt sick, lose stool, sweating, high HR, struggled to sit down properly as felt like a knife in my bum and pain to pass urine.
went to A&E, it was 4am when I woke and went at 5am, had codeine which helped then scanned later and was a partially ruptured ectopic. Went in to theatre fairly quickly and lost my right tube. That was almost 2yrs ago, and I’m currently trying for another baby.

I hope you have a good outcome lovely

It's so hard to say, I've had a MMC, 1 child and now currently 15w pregnant and had symptoms like you describe in all pregnancies in the first trimester.

Good luck with your appt, hope all is well ❤️

Dark brown, frogspawn texture, light bleeding.

Immense pain once I was already in the system - I was surgical treatment and already in hospital, and went from "we'll fit you in when we can, hopefully this evening, probably tomorrow" to "you are getting the next available surgeon". Lost the tube, but just about to tell DS1 to turn his lights out, and DS2 is snoring.

Hi, I found out mine was ectopic a couple of weeks ago (at 7 + 2). The trigger for finding out was brown spotting and painful cramps - I was sent for a scan at the EPU. It was my first pregnancy so I wasn't sure if the cramping was "normal" or not as it seems almost anything can be normal but I was struggling to walk/sit properly/pain on one side.

Looking back, the implantation cramps around 4ish weeks (or what I thought were implantation cramps) were much more painful than period cramps. Again it was a first pregnancy so I don't know if that's normal. I also felt like my pregnancy symptoms didn't really progress. I started feeling nauseas at 5 weeks and still felt that way at 7, but it didn't really progress to actual vomiting as I anticipated!
