Positive pregnancy test still after 6 weeks of miscarriage

I lost twins at 9 weeks, it was a mmc so I had to take medical management. I did have some complications but it’s 6 weeks Monday since my miscarriage and I’m still getting semi dark pregnancy tests
has anyone else had this?

It is normal to still have hcg in the blood and since it was twins, you had more in the blood than usual. So I think it is natural. Sorry for your loss.

Have you contacted the EPU? They might be able to advise and do bloods/scans?
I’m guessing you’re not still bleeding?
I had surgical management and told I could have a + test and bleeding up to three weeks, after that I’ve been told I’d likely need to have more tests (not at the 3 wk mark yet tho) to make sure everything has ‘come out.’
I am still spotting though…

It is not normal at all to have a positive PT 6 weeks after medical management. You could have retained products. Please contact your EPAU tomorrow am to arrange a scan or BHCG blood test.
