So I started my period roughly 10 days early and then yesterday passed this hard lump like clot. I'm normally regular with my periods and have never passed clots before. But this period has been painful (not to the point that it's stopped me from doing my day to day activities, but more painful than normal).
I've been to see the nurse today who said if it was a miscarriage I would still test positive on a pregnancy test (I did one last night which was negative). My last period finished on the 3rd April. The nurse seems to think it could be an old blood clot that I've passed.
I'm being sent for a scan within the next two weeks. But I was just wondering if anyone has had a similar experience? Could this be an early miscarriage?
