Hey, hoping to hear others experiences about getting pregnant after a miscarriage.

Currently having a miscarriage at only 5 weeks. Before this had been trying for a year to get pregnant, just so hoping it’s not going to take another year to get pregnant again.

Hi
So sorry for what your going through x

I had a Missed miscarriage at 13 weeks and was pregnant with my youngest 4 months later.

I was heartbroken and it took awhile to come to terms with it.

I had a miscarriage and became pregnant straight away on my next cycle.

Thank you guys for sharing. If you don’t mind me asking, how long did it take for you to get pregnant when you miscarried? X

Miscarriage August
Pregnant by December

SareBear87 · 18/11/2021 11:37

Started ttc Jan 2021
MC in Jun 2021 (6 weeks)
1 "normal" (slightly longer) cycle and caught on the following cycle.
MMC in Oct 2021 (discovered at 13 week scan) from above cycle so hoping to catch again quickly once my body gets back into the swing of things

Emotionally draining but there is hope!

I had one at 6 weeks. I waited for my next period and got pregnant straight away. Had another at 9weeks and it took two months.

Sorry to hear about your loss OP Thanks

I had a miscarriage, ovulated 10 days after the bleeding stopped and got pregnant. I now have a very boisterous 14 month old toddler.

Good luck x

I had a long and complex miscarriage and didn't get pregnant for 3 months after treatment had ended. Decided to take a break after it for mental health.

Try to not put yourself under pressure, give yourself time to grieve. I didn't and was diagnosed with depression 😔

I don't think there is any 'norm' OP. I had consecutive MCs with no real pattern. For me
1st MC - fell pregnant again the cycle after
2nd MC - fell pregnant 7 months later
3rd MC - fell pregnant 2 months after

So sorry for your loss.
I lost my first pregnancy in June and fell pregnant again in August going on to have a little girl. I then lost my third pregnancy last year in April. My body took a couple of months to get back to normal but I fell pregnant again in the September and now have a lovely little boy. There’s definitely hope.
Look after yourself and as precious poster has said, give yourself time and headspace to recover l. I did this properly after my second miscarriage and recovered mentally from it better as a result.
