How long did it take for your pregnancy test to turn negative?

Still testing positive a week after I started bleeding, the line isn't any stronger or weaker. Still looks the same. I would've been 5 weeks 4 days today.

How long did it take for your lines to disappear and test negative?

I really hope it turns out well for you but, please keep an eye on your body. HCG will still rise if the pregnancy is of an unknown location- which can be very dangerous for you. Flowers

@Suprima I am worried it may be ectopic, been having quite a bit of pain on left side which comes and goes. Hoping they will be able to get some answers tomorrow at the EPU 😞

Update: currently in the hospital, they think it's ectopic.

Waiting on blood results and a doctor to come and talk me through a plan. 😔

They can see a suspicious 'mass' near my left ovary, forgot to add.

Oh I'm so sorry @prayingforrainbows Sad astonished private scan didn't pick up the ectopic, at 5 weeks it would be enough for them to see.
It is good it is getting resolved and you're getting care, ectopics are dangerous so you will be going on the med. also means you will see negative result soon so you can start again. Xxx
Let us know how you get on

Thank you @laurenGame. Just waiting on the Methotrexate injection now, will have to come back for regular blood tests in the coming days to make sure the HCG levels are coming down.

It'll be at least 3 months before we can try again, but I'm hopeful we will get our rainbow baby one day. 🌈

@prayingforrainbows oh I'm so sorry, it's such a drawn out heartbreaking process sometimes. I never knew all these things could go against us until I started the journey. It's astounding to me how many things some of us have to battle against. I hope with all my might things get better or they find the easiest reasoning for what's happening

WutheringMights · 05/11/2021 08:33

I am so sorry to read this and hope you are at home @prayingforrainbows starting your healing process. Please be kind to yourself over the coming weeks. You will come back fighting stronger than ever x
