Miscarriage started but seems to have stopped again?!

Hi all

Ive previously posted as I am waiting for surgical management (this Friday) but it seemed that my miscarriage started to progress naturally yesterday with lots of cramping and more blood loss then previously.

I went to bed last night and since then, no further cramping and not much blood loss, is this likely to continue happening throughout the day? I assumed it would all happen very quickly once the bleeding ramped up..

Any advice/opinions would be gratefully received x

Hi, i had a natural miscarriage when baby stopped developing at 8 weeks and decided to wait for my body to do its thing. I started bleeding very lightly for 1 day, stopped and then started again a day later. It took about 4 days in total, the cramping for me got really really bad - just so you're prepared!
As soon as i passed the sac the pain completely disappeared. I hope the process is as quick and painless as possible for you!Flowers

@3yearstrying thank you so much for your reply! 3 days in and still have around an hour of cramping which ramps up and just disappears again.
I have surgery tomorrow, sadly I think it’s not going to happen before then :(

Oh bless you, sometimes our bodies just need a little help! Best to get it over so you can start to recover. Best of wishes x

Sorry for your loss OP :-(

I had a MMC back in July. I was hoping things would happen by themselves but my body kept on and off light bleeding for a week and a half. It would stop for days in-between episodes of slighty heavier bledding/cramping. It was so difficult- the anticipation and uncertainty got too much for me I the end and I ended up going for medical management. I felt so much better once I was on the other side and I could begin to recover. Wishing you all the best for tomorrow xx

Oh, sorry I see now you were going for D&C last Friday. Hope all went smoothly for you xx

Thank you @FleasAndKeef for replying. It’s awful isn’t it! To be honest I was getting 1 day where I had just normal bleeding and then a day of cramping and what I thought would end up being the day just didn’t happen for me naturally so had a d&c on Friday.

Hope you’re doing ok x

@Luckyme30 I had the same on Friday. Hope you're doing ok. My bleeding has stopped now although I'm still getting cramps. My bowels are bad too 😫
