Doctor unsure of miscarriage

Hello - so I thought I was 6 weeks pregnant and have been bleeding for 3 days that is getting heavier. I went to the EPU today and they performed both an external and internal scan. In the external one they couldn’t see anything but in the internal they could see the sac but it’s low down in my womb. I now have to go back in 2 weeks to check if the miscarriage has happened as there is a chance it won’t of and the baby survives. Has anyone else had this?

Also they said by the look of the scan the baby is 4 weeks but I was actively ttc and made it 6 weeks and 3 days....how is that possible when following my dates?

Any experiences of this please share.

If you’re bleeding heavy afterwards do a pregnancy test again after bleeding and you will know for 100% Ive had miscarriage at 6 weeks and started with pink blood then passed few clots went for scan nothing there , done pregnancy test and was negative. So sorry for all of this is happening to you . Nobody deserves this sending hugs xx
