Hi, we found out on Thursday just gone, at a 10.5w scan, that we have unfortunately had a MMC.
I have my D&C planned in next Monday, as my hospital want to do a second scan to formally confirm it’s a missed miscarriage (although they did confirm it on Monday), and have also suggested I may even start miscarrying naturally before Monday.
(Sorry for TMI here) but I’ve started passing stringy blood clots, around 8cm long. This happened yesterday at 3pm and 9pm, and then today at 10am and 4pm. Could this be the start of the miscarriage?
This is the first clot I have ever seen in my life (not normal within my usual period), and throughout this pregnancy I haven’t bled once.
I haven't had any bleeding or cramps yet. I’m really hoping this is the start of a natural miscarriage, as I’d much prefer that over d&c!
Anyone that can relate or offer advice or has been in a similar situation, I’d really appreciate it! Thank you xx
