Can you fall pregnant after miscarriage before having a period?

Hi guys, I had a missed miscarriage 6weeks ago. I was 11.5 weeks. We lost the baby at 7weeks.
I know that it can take a while for a period to arrive following a miscarriage and D & C procedure, I had a negative pregnancy test two weeks and me and my husband have been having unprotected sex.
I just wondered if it’s possible to conceive before having a period following a miscarriage?
My Husband and I want to try again but are not putting any pressure on ourselves. The miscarriage was extremely difficult for us and honestly I’m not sure if I’m ready to be pregnant again with the fear of it happening again.

I'm sorry for your loss. You can get pregnant again without a period. It happened to me. I had my second miscarriage and then 5-6 weeks later found out I was pregnant again and hadn't had a period. It was a successful pregnancy and they dated it by scans as they had no last period to go off so the due date changed a couple of times (just by a week or two). My first miscarriage was similar to yours. A missed miscarriage at 11 weeks, I had a d&c too. With that miscarriage my period didn't return until about 7 weeks after so it can take a while. Best of luck for your future pregnancies.

Yes, my friend got pregnant with her daughter straight after a MMC. No period in between. It did make dating the pregnancy trickier but it all seemed to work out ok.

I’m so sorry for your loss Flowers

I'm sorry for your loss. I ovulated between my miscarriage and my first period after it so yes, it can happen.

@Newgirl21 I "might" be in the same boat as you after a miscarriage at nearly 7 weeks last month. I'm getting faint positives on tests so I'm not 100% yet. Sorry for your loss. Hope everything works out for you x
