Brown discharge - bad sign?

I'm 7 weeks and mad googling seems to offer explanations of either completely normal or a sign of miscarriage - has anyone else experienced brown mucus type stuff?
I had a mmc last year so generally feeling less optimistic than I did the first time, the pregnancy innocence has definitely gone!
If that hits home with anyone else and you just want to chat about the stresses of it all then let me know, it is a bit of a lonely place to be in.

Oh I should probably add for anyone who comes to this thread in future - at the ultrasound scan she could see the bleed and said it was from the implantation, which at 7 weeks was obviously a while ago so the old blood was now brown. She said brown is a better colour to see generally, in case that helps anyone reading this x

@Justkeepswimming10 this is incredible news, so happy for you. Hoping you can relax at least a little bit and that the rest of your pregnancy goes well ❤️❤️❤️

Thank you @coconutlatte44 it is definitely a rollercoaster and I hope the rest goes steadier - don't think my nerves will be able to cope otherwise! And can definitely say my instincts have been wrong the last 2 times - last year thought all fine and ended mmc this time absolutely convinced there was no baby to see today but obviously had a good surprise.

How are you doing post mmc?

I'm ok, thanks. Honestly, I think having my son just makes it much more manageable this time around. It feels like it's just a matter of time before things work out again.

I know if/when I get pregnant again I won't be able to relax and probably won't believe it's really going to work out, but I've coped with that once before and I can do it again.

Please keep us updated on how things go for you!

Fantastic news.

Early pregnancy is such a stressful time. Hopefully the rest of your pregnancy will be an absolute breeze.

Sounds like a really sensible way of thinking about it @coconutlatte44 I hope everything happens for you when you are ready for it again - agree, the stress of it all just seems like a given doesn't it xx

Thank you @mibbelucieachwell, keeping everything crossed for the next 5 weeks 🙏 xx
