Please help , I am 6 weeks and misscarring but I have no pain at all !???

I started bleeding at 6 weeks with very heavy flow and bright red blood , first day was very heavy flow , changed couple of pads a day , second day light flow , changed pad twice only or once . I am on third day and it’s not very heavy again but still red , I have no cramps no pain at all , what is going on , I’m sure it’s miscarriage as it’s too much blood to be anything else . Why don’t I have pain at all ??? I also have had previous miscarriage at 6 weeks and before I experienced a lot of pain and cramping and this time nothing but red blood ... please any advice I’d so much appreaciate

‘Weirdly’ I’m experiencing exactly the same thing right now, sorry I don’t have any answers💞. I also feel like I’ve lost way too much blood for anything to be ok! Xx

@Jam291 , I know it’s soo weird , my clear blue digital is showing 3+ Weeks still , I’m so confused ... im going to take pregnancy tests now every few days to see if they get lighter , I haven’t passed anything else other than blood , iv had 4 miscarriages at the same time 6 weeks and normally it started with cramping and pain straight away and I passed the sac and blood clots but now nothing 🧐🥺 or maybe it will come in a few days maybe ?

I haven’t taken a digital, got 2-3 weeks at the right time, went for a scan due to spotting / bleeding and saw a heartbeat on Tuesday but the bleeding is so much heavier now. ;( there’s no way a baby can survive it. I have clots all be it small ones but still clots..

I’ve had a MMC, then a baby born very poorly with on going issues, and now this miscarriage. Sometimes it doesn’t just rain it pours right. 🙁💓.

I took a IC test today and it’s so strong, stronger than test line which is annoying..
My cramping has just started; well like a dull ache I normally get during a period.
I have another scan on Tuesday to see what’s going on, although it’s clear to me. Xx

How many weeks were you? If you have no cramps or clots still I'd consider calling the EPU. There are other reasons apart from mc which can cause bleeds (like for example subchoriac hemorrhage - I'm not spelling that correcrly)

So a pregnancy test will show as positive whether it's good or bad news unfortunately. You hear stories of things being ok, and there is that 1% chance, but otherwise I'm truly sorry for your loss it's heartbreaking. It's the loss of the hope and excitement that a pregnancy brings,

I had a miscarriage at 10 weeks and I did have a stabbing pain the day before like in the side, I had to sit down as I was cleaning, but then nothing, so I thought oh weird all ok. About 24 hours later I was sitting on the sofa talking to my DS and just felt the blood come rushing out, no pain, as it progressed some heavy bleeding into toilet which looked like clots and some just normal heavy period, not really any cramping even. So in a way not as bad as period, although a lot more blood. I felt drained, but that was the shock and emotions. When I went to the hospital they said that 2 weeks after miscarriage, to take a pregnancy test and it should show negative by then.

This is a bit random question, how do they do an early scan if you are still bleeding? Will there be blood all over ? I never had one when I had bleeding and I would feel uncomftable having one if I was bleeding 😞

@Sadgirl28 I think they still would scan you? They cover the probe anyway . I had one last Tuesday when I was spotting and at end end she said ( TMI ) there’s blood on the probe so you will bleed more.
I have another scan on Tuesday to ‘clarify’ and I’m bleeding period type dxx

@Jam291 oh okay thank you ! I have been bleeding for 4 days now , first day was heavy and now it’s almost nothing .. I can’t belive how fast this miscarriage went , no pain nothing , I’m just worried I haven’t passed everything yet ... before when I was 5 weeks pregnant I passed the sac and tissue , sorry too much information but this time nothing but blood

And now I was also 5+6 days so surely I should have to pass more than just blood ....

@Jam291 how is your bleeding going now ? Is it still heavy ? Surely your experience is more positive as you have seen heartbeat on Tuesday , how was the heartbeat ? Strong ?

Can I ask how do you know you are miscarriaging? It’s not TMI at all, as I know I passed the sac etc..
When’s your scan? I would go if I was you xx

I miscarried at 12 weeks and had no pain at all.
The baby stopped growing at 9 weeks.

@Sadgirl28 I saw the heartbeat I asked her how many BMP but she said they don’t do that this early, looked ok, didn’t think much of it as I thought I had lost the baby so was amazed there was a heartbeat.
Sadly I miscarried three days after xx

@Jam291 the reason why I think I have miscarried is because of the loss or blood , I haven’t been to doctors yet as I didn’t want to go until I was further on , so didn’t want to waste their time ,because I knew my chance of miscarriage before my appoitment was high due to my history , I wanted to see if I can get past 6 weeks of pregnancy without miscarring ,( because I lost my previous 4 before 6 weeks as well ) but I started bleeding before 6 weeks so I take it as a miscarriage , I have had 4 miscarriage at the same time , so I was already positive that I will also lose this pregnancy and boom I was right . And I feel like I don’t need doctors help or advice anymore when I am misscarring because I have been through it 4 times already naturally not medically removed . I just let nature take it’s course ,so I know what to expect , but this loss really surprised me , I was soo ready for the pain and cramping to start when I saw blood first day but 4 days and still nothing , only blood , and today it’s almost nothing ... only when I wipe , bit of red blood .. blush]

@ofwarren off I’m so sorry for your loss , :( , can’t imagine losing baby when 9 weeks already !! I was only 6 so much easier ,
You mentioned having no pain when misscarring , but did you pass everything or did you have it medically removed ? Xx

I passed the sac myself at home but I haemorrhaged and spent a few days in hospital where I had "retained products" so I have to have the tablet thing in my cervix to make it come out. Still no pain, even then.
I have already had 3 children though, so maybe that's why?

They do a internal scan even when you are bleeding. They are medical professionals and they are fine with some bleeding, do not worry, everything's covered and they give you tissue to wipe. They are truely kind at the EPU. If you haven't please contact your EPU ( early pregnancy unit at your nearest major hospital) or your doctor if they won't let you self refer.
