I passed this with my heaviest bleed yesterday. Haven’t seen anything similar since. It was very small but to be expected as I’m sure she said 3mm sac on the scan. Sorry for the graphic image I’m just looking for any advice really so I can relax a bit knowing I’ve passed it .

@Slk3558 I had surgical management and have had minimal bleeding so can’t comment however I’m sure some ladies on here will be able to help you. Xxx

How far along were you?
Have you lost many clots?
It's hard to tell whether it's the sac, when I lost mine I was 12 weeks but the pregnancy was only 6 weeks developed. I passed a similar shaped "thing" but it was less bloody and I could see it was a sac with tissue in.
I lost lots and lots of large clots too and ended up haemorrhaging.
I'm sorry for your loss Flowers

@Slk3558 I'm not certain but I don't think so I was told by the midwife that pregnancy tissue is a lot lighter and pinky compared to clots which are dark. But depending on how far along you were depends. To me it seems quite dark so more likely to be a clot

Thanks ladies. I am 7 weeks but it stopped at 5 they said . I just thought it look like there was a string attached to it which made me think it was . But I know lots of people say it’s like a grey matter . I’ve passed similar blackish ones but a lot smaller ...

@ofwarren I know feel like I’ve lost so much blood far more than ever have on a period

I would’ve considered other options but my body actually started miscarrying naturally was spotting for 7 days and then started bleeding properly yesterday

@slk3558 this looks like a clot rather than pregnancy sac. I passed my sac last week ftom med management and it looks quite different, almost like a small jellyfish or a squashy pickled onion. From scan I was told my sac was measuring at about 6 weeks, was the size of a large grape when it came out. So sorry you're going through this, its an anxious wait I know x

MrsFluffyMuff · 14/01/2021 20:13

I had an early MC and didn't pass anything that looked like a sac , just clots like the one in your pic. Hope you are ok Flowers

Slk3558 · 14/01/2021 20:55

Thank to all for taking the time to comment.
@MrsFluffyMuff Maybe the sac disintegrates then .. they did say it was collapsing on the scan ... it’s just the anxiety of not knowing whether it’s out or not. Done a pregnancy test stupidly and it was still blazing positive 🙄

It can stay positive for weeks unfortunately I'm 9 days since miscarriage still positive tests and still have some pregnancy symptoms unfortunately

Sorry you're going through this. From my recent experience/what the Dr explained that looks like placenta tissue. The sac I passed was clear in colour and obvious.

Slk3558 · 15/01/2021 09:28

Thanks @Runkle xx

Feel free. Can't promise to know the answer but if it helps you.

Slk3558 · 17/01/2021 20:19

This is it. It came after some very painful cramps. Does it look like placenta / sac ?

It's a lot lighter and yes looks like pregnancy tissue. If your pain has also since subsided and bleeding isn't too heavy its also an indication that you have passed the majority of pregnancy tissue

Slk3558 · 18/01/2021 09:47

Thank you. Been for a scan this morn confirmed all passed out. Thanks for all your support xx
