Help - Very pale and Dizzy are surgical management- A&E?

Amy advice please is appreciated.

I had surgical management yesterday under GA. All.went well as was back home within 3 hours of the op. Very little bleeding, however I look very pale and have become quite dizzy and uncordianted , feel I may faint.

Makes no sense as I really aren't losing much blood at all. Could.it just be after effects of GA, or something else? Getting really worried but just can't deal with being back in hospital.

I would give 111 a phone. You may be bleeding internally. I don’t have a massive amount of experience in this so you’re best talking to a professional

Ring the gynae ward and explain. The on call gynae Dr will be there and may be able to advise.

Could it be dehydration or low blood sugar? Are you eating, drinking and weeing? Any pain anywhere?

YoungScrappyHungry · 17/12/2020 20:53

Thank you. Hadn't thought about internal bleeding.
I'm drinking and weeing haven't eaten much all day.
Feel like absolute shit tbh, like I'm really drunk

Definitely call 111 or the ward. This doesn’t sound right. They usually warn you if you are likely to experience any side effects of surgery.

Could it be the after effects of the anesthetic?

ShirleyPhallus · 17/12/2020 21:14

Thanks so much all.
DH was on and off to different clinicians on 111 throughout the night, I was completely wiped out. The out of hours doctor said it seems like the aftereffects of the GA, just odd as I was totally awake on the day and morning after.
The bleeding has really kicked up a notch this morning so I've been told to keep an eye on everything.
Thank you all x

The other possibility that could make you feel how you are feeling is low blood pressure . Definitely keep and eye on it and wishing you a good recover x
