Hi,
I’m new here and this is my first post but I have found so much comfort it reading some old related posts of what I have been going through.
I had surgical management for a MMC last a Thursday and also suspected molar pregnancy. This was my first pregnancy and I am so scared for the outcome and future pregnancies :(
Any advice or positive stories would be greatly appreciated! Can’t help but feel awfully alone with such a rare condition.
Thank you xx

Hi you're not alone. I'm here. I had a complete molar in 2012. Currently sat next to my rainbow baby who was conceived 7 months after my diagnosis. He is now 7!

I got my 'happy ending' but the molar is still with me...... like a dull ache..... physically I'm fine but my mental health took a battering for it.

I was looked after by Weston Park in Sheffield. Have you been assigned to a specialist hospital yet or are the awaing confirmation from lab results?

I'm happy to talk on here or by private message.

molarpregnancy.co.uk

The above website was a god send to me back in the days. I havent been on it for a while so wanted to check that it was still an active site. It is!

You can register for the chat forum to get some support whilst you are awaiting confirmation. I learnt a lot from the site and from chatting to other people. I even met another mum local to me that had been through a similar experience.

If you register for the forum, on the molar pregnancy website, pm me and let me know your user name and I will pop in to show my support if you start a thread.

Thanks so much for replying DustingMyselfOff!!! And how wonderful that you got your rainbow baby! That makes me feel so much better knowing your following pregnancy was healthy.

I will be assigned to Charing Cross I think. Still awaiting results but I think they are pretty certain it was molar :(

Can I PM you? It would be helpful to talk about symptoms and stuff... I’m recovering well from surgery but had a bit of scare yesterday when a big clot came out! (Sorry TMI) I really want to stop bleeding and just get back to normal ASAP!

I’ll definitely have a look at that website now, thank you so so much
