Is it going to get worse or is it over?

Started bleeding red blood and bleeding through a pad in around 3 hours from this afternoon. Have mostly sat down this evening (blood gushes a bit more when I'm walking around) and bleeding has slowed (going through a pad in 6 hours).
Cramps are increasing, like bad period pains and bad ache is moderate but nothing more than intense period pain feelings.

Is it going to get worse? I keep reading things about people being stuck on the toilet for hours and visibly noting they've passed their foetus...

I was 6+2 when I started bleeding red blood today. Any advice for what to come is appreciated.
Worst part is it's my birthday tomorrow :(

Couldn't read and not post... I'm sorry and I hope you have someone in real life there x

Sorry you’re going through this especially with your birthday tomorrow. I found the bleeding was quite bad for 3 days (like you say the ‘gushing feeling’ and changing pads regularity. It eased a bit but I would say it was a fairly heavy period for a week or so. Xx

I'm 8+4 so a littler further along

It may come in peaks and throths.

I've had heavy so much that my pad was leaking through in 20 minutes

You may also get some clots but I think resting is the best thing

And just trying for to keep you body close to bathrooms.

Look out for temp rising or feeling faint

Good luck

So sorry you're going through this. I was 6 weeks exactly when mine started, literally gushes if blood. I used the biggest always pad I had, took paracetamol every 4 hours and stayed in bed apart from getting up every 2-3 hours to change the pads. It did ease up from day three and by day 5 the bleeding stopped. Heaviest was days 1 and 2 just constant gushing. It stopped completely by day 6 and 29 days later I had my period and a month after that I got pregnant.

It should get easier after today or tomorrow hopefully. If the pain gets unbearable ring your epu. So sorry you're going through this on your birthday. Sending you lots of strength.xx

Thank you all. It's been quite light bleeding today and has gone dark in colour again (with some more red gushes).
I guess I'm expecting it to come on heavy again soon- just feels weird, I thought it would be more intense 'evacuating' than it has been so far, as of yet, seems like a heavy period.

The cramps have subsided a little and I'm feeling quite yucky in general.

I wish this type of thing was more textbook, seems to vary so much between women.

Firstly, I'm sorry. I'm hoping the below information will help:

Natural miscarriage can take up to 3 weeks.
You can expect cramping, clots and bleeding.
At 6+2 you are very unlikely to see something that looks like a baby in the tissue you lose.
If you ever go through a pad in under an hour, you should call the early pregnancy unit, if in a half hour you should go to a and e.
You should seek medical help if you get any signs of infection (temp rise, flu like symptoms, smell)
After 3 weeks you should be testing as no pregnant. If you are still bleeding, cramping, or testing positive at this time you need further help as you may have retained tissue/products of conception (I hate these phrases but theyre the medical terms).
