3 weeks since D&C. Could I be pregnant?

Hi all,
So I had a D&C 3 weeks ago after a missed miscarriage of twins. The scan showed two sacs but one measured 5 weeks and the other measured 8, EPU said it was blighted ovum.

Very straight forward D&C, bled for 3 days and recovered really well. Now 3 weeks later I feel really nauseous, lots of watery discharge, metallic taste in mouth and really itchy breasts (? Weird) all of my symptoms completely stopped from my previous pregnancy pretty much as soon as I’d had the D&C so I am a bit confused at this sudden symptom overload.

I just wondered if there is anyone else out there that had this or anyone with similar experience? My other half and I have been DTD since but I also know that my body may be a bit all over the place after everything that’s happened so could be playing tricks on me. I also know that I should take a test but wondered if I’d still have HCG in my system as it was quite high previously.

Two faint positives so far. Going to leave it 2 weeks and test again. Not sure if it’s just left over HCG, kicking myself a bit for not testing to check for a negative before x

I'm in a similar situation. Natural miscarriage at 8 weeks, but baby measured 6 and no heartbeat.

Hi @Agnesss78 thank you and I’m sorry that you’ve been through this, it’s crap isn’t it?
Im still getting faint positives couldn’t hold off for another two weeks so tested yesterday twice. I have read on other threads though that the tests I’m using give evap lines (although they worked fine when I was pregnant before) so going to buy some pink dye strips and try and hold off for a little while longer before I test again x

I got pg 1 week after a mmc and a D&C. My period hadn’t returned
It all went fine and she’s almost 16 now!

I am on CD13 post miscarriage and no signs of ovulation. No EWCM and pregnancy tests still very faint positive. On CD9 I had what seems like EWCM although I am not sure what's going on, did opk - came back strong positive (obviously probably because of residual hcg). We dtd on cd8 & cd9 but it seems so unlikely I ovulated sooo early, as previously I was always ovulating cd13-14. I never heard of anyone ovulating a week or so post miscarriage. Dh is away for 2 weeks, so no more bd'ing for now

@Hoppinggreen sorry I missed your post... wow, you ovulated one week after d&c? I thought I had some signs of ovulation on cd10, but dismissed 🤔

Thanks @Agnesss78 although I think I am out pink dye test this morning a very clear negative so must’ve just been left over hcg with the other tests or a false positive 🤷🏼‍♂️ I feel exactly the same as when I was pregnant though, sickness all day, sore boobs, pulling feeling very low down in my tummy and absolutely exhausted!!. Guess it’s just my body getting back to normal. I am keeping everything crossed for you and hope that you get your rainbow baby soon! ✨✨

It was amazing but I was basically pg for a year!!

I got pregnant within a fortnight, so it definitely can happen

Just wondering ladies did you get strong positives straight away? My symptoms basically vanished as soon as I had the d&c and I have had nothing not even a faint pregnancy symptom til the 3rd of this month when everything kicked back in! I know it sounds mental but I just feel pregnant, hence the frustration at all these faints now the negative!

It didn't occur to me that I could be. It was only the day the copious vomiting started (I hate being pregnant) that the penny dropped.

I think I’ll leave it a week or two and see what the result is. If it’s another negative I’ll just blame it on my body being mental at the moment!

I thought I might be pg again when I threw poor DH’s breakfast at him when he expressed mild disappointment that his egg yolk was broken

😂😂 I’ll be on the look out for signs like these!
Am still resisting the urge to test although the sickness that I am feeling at the moment is overwhelming, also getting a pulling sensation constantly and dull aches like af due. I have read elsewhere that these can be ovulation signs too so may not be pregnant after all.
