Missed miscarriage - symptoms still getting worse!

I have had a missed miscarriage and tomorrow have the final appt at the EPU to agree which management option to choose.

The baby stopped developing at least 3, maybe 4 weeks ago (I found out 2 weeks ago) but the last 48 hours my nausea has been so much worse! It's driving me mad and making me miserable.

Could this be a final hormone surgery before my body starts to miscarry naturally?

I'm so sorry for your loss. Hope you are ok. I found out my baby died (delayed miscarriage) on 27th august. I had medical management on 1st September which happened within 4 hours. I had morning sickness up until last week and still getting a positive test now, they said it can take a long time for hormones to decrease. I previously had miscarriages naturally twice before this one x

I forgot to add that my baby died around 6 weeks and I didn't miscarry until 11.5 weeks x

I'm so sorry for you @krj2608 . I hope you are healing after this horrible experience.

Oh that's interesting that your symptoms continued. My preference is really to wait for things to happen naturally but I can't face the thought of potentially several more weeks of exhaustion and nausea. It's harder to cope with knowing there isn't the compensation of a baby at the end of it.

I think I will probably have medical management tomorrow so thank you for sharing your experience. I'm quite nervous about it so good to hear it happened quickly. Was it very painful? X

I am so sorry ❤️ I'm waiting to miscarry my 4th pregnancy - no living children - this is my 3rd missed miscarriage and I have had horrendous pregnancy symptoms this time round. Missed miscarriages are awful and cruel.

I need this little one testing but am petrified of medical or surgical management - my others were natural at around 9 weeks. I've got my epu follow up on Wednesday.

Sending you lots of love for tomorrow xx

I'm so sorry @VenusStarr. That is so awful. I feel like I've coped really well with this, but I cannot imagine 4. You must be so heartbroken. Sending you lots of love and a big handhold x
